Do I Allow Myself To Be Controlled?

From a sexual standpoint some people like to play games of controlling and enslavement. It arouses their libido to a high pitch, but these are just sex games people play. We however are talking about a loving relationship.

If your partner controls you to the point where you feel dominated all the time - and you don't speak up - then fear of the other person enters the picture here alongside loss of self respect.

We have seen that loss of self respect can harbor many illnesses but when you attach fear with it, you have a very grave matter indeed.

There can be no love here, so why not get out of the situation?

The answer... fear of the other!

Here you need outside help, or as the old saying goes, "the worm can turn, but in turning nothing is sure or safe and much damage has been done to both parties."

What this means is that when a woman, for example, has been used to taking a beating for a long time she is like a worm. When the worm turns she picks up the frying pan and beats her partner instead - and sometime worse happens - and she goes to prison.

"I won't do it again darling!" Oh sure you think to yourself while standing there with a black eye and a broken arm. They always do it again - Get Out!

What? You love him you say. I can help change him? Well you are as sick as he is, but if you want to have a great loving relationship, get out and start fresh and make sure you don't find yourself being attracted to the same type. These type of people can easily detect a partner that has no self respect.

You need to help your self! Love your self with respect.
