Being Sure of Yourself

There are many times in our life when we easily begin to doubt ourselves and we must ask why?

When the mind is clear and you shoot the arrow, you will always hit the bulls eye.

When the mind is confused and you shoot the arrow, you miss the target completely.

Since a confused mind can only create confused answers, it is vitally important to clear the mind so one can see clearly. The interesting thing is that once the mind is clear, one never asks questions again because there is no need. When the mind is clear, you already know all the answers and thus no questions need to be asked.

So where does this confusion come from?

The simple answer is your ego.

The ego will do whatever it can to sabotage your happiness and love. The ego knows that once you are reunited with the love inside you, then there is no need for your ego. As a result, the ego is fighting for its survival. The ego does whatever it can to confuse you and make you unsure.

Once you are confused and unsure then you begin to make bad decisions resulting in pain and disappointment. This is of course what the ego wants for its own survival.

When one is at a level of peace and happiness that goes beyond any description, then there is no need for the ego. When at this point, you can only be sure of yourself because everything is clear.

If you find yourself confused and unsure of yourself then ask yourself why?

When you do this, you will discover that you already know the answer yet your ego is creating a smoke screen to hide the answer from you.

Clear the smoke screen by getting rid of all that you don't need. When you eliminate all that you don't need then all that remains is love.

When you accept that you need to eliminate all that you don't need, you will realize that what you don't need is your ego... and all the problems it causes.

Some may think that it is impossible to live without one's ego, but this is not true. You can live a fully functional and practical life without your ego but you will never know this until you do... and once you do, you will never want to leave the peace, happiness and love that flourishes in an ego free condition.

When there is love, you will always be sure of yourself.
