Do You Have Diverse Interests?

This is a minor problem in relationships, but nonetheless can drive people apart.

You know you get bored sometimes in a marriage, and this is the evening that your partner is going out to a game of bowling alone, as you don't like bowling. Well because of boredom, your partner is just as likely to meet someone there at the bowling alley that will energize and make him feel good. So be careful and keep enough interests both in the home and socially to invigorate your marriage.

Marriages, partnerships and love relationships and just plain sex outings can be very diverse and for as many people as there are.

There are just as many diverse ways of having these relationships, so get to know yourself. Get to know what is passion, lust, and don't mistake it for love, for you cannot know what love is. You can only know what love isn't.

When love is happening to you, it is magic and cannot be defined.

Love is always happy and joyful and enriching. When it is not happening to you, it is some of the things we have talked about here and they cause pain and suffering.

Once you can differentiate between feeling good and feeling bad about love, you will refuse to let the bad stuff happen to you.

It will become very easy to say, "I do not like the way this person is treating me. I will tell him to beat it."

If you do not like the way your love is treating you and you still stay, then perhaps some professional counseling is in order.
