Rejection

Rejection is like being dropped into a hole.

Everything you had placed your attention on, just left. Just left you alone. Of course it hurts. When you place your attention and what gives you happiness onto one person, you are bound to get hurt sooner or later.

There is a philosophical adage which says, "That which you love the most will cause the most pain." It just makes sense doesn't it.

Real love, where people have matured, grown together and are none of the negative qualities of love, will suffer horribly at the loss of of a loved one. But, you have to remember that this example has been two people growing closer together over the years.

Where you get an obsessive love and then that love is rejected, there is also pain because no matter how healthy or how sick an emotion is, the loss of that emotional commitment is a tremendous loss.

The interesting thing is a person can learn, over time, to love with open hands - not grasping and clinging, and with the full realization that the people we love are only loaned to us for as long as we need them.

At some time, life through death, accident, or desire, calls that loan in. There are no guarantees. One has to learn how to be so centered that life's values are realized and not just what your values are. Bad things happen - you have to be prepared.

You cannot be so blinded and comfortable to think that your relationship can't change in the wink of an eye. I will help show you how to center yourself, so that you can become balanced even in the hardest of times.
