Love Compatibility

Samkhya Yoga is the mathematical science to measure the movements of the heavens. It was not only displayed to the Learned Ones in great and beautiful symbols, but also in mathematical formulae, much in the same way as our scientists use the E=MC² symbol to represent a very complex theory.

Yantra Yoga uses the same mathematical formulas as Samkhya Yoga but at a more personal level, whereby Yogis can measure the base character and soul nature of an individual, plus his or her personality. The way he or she thought and the way the individuals express. Their environment and destiny were all foretold in Yantra too.

From the early beginnings this study of Yoga was so profound, that it was kept secret from those outside of the Yogic world until the 20th century. This study began to grow and it grew into what we today know as Samkhya Yoga and Yantra Yoga. Yogis such as Swami Gitanandaji followed by one of his students, Swami Harinanda have been at the forefront of educating people around the world about Yantra Yoga.

In trying to determine love compatibility, we will use Yantra Yoga to guide us. We can make a comparison between the group into which a person is born to provide us some answers.

The group into which an individual is born is determined by the date of the month they are born in. Example, if a person is born on July 31, then the group they fall into is determined by the 31st day of the month.

The date of the month of one's birth is very important in making an analysis of the individual as it denotes the group consciousness an individual is born into.

There are three groups and one group that crosses the borders of the three major groups. The groups can be classified as follows:

If a person is born on the 31 day of the month, then their day of birth breaks down to 3+1=4. Therefore, someone born on the 31st day of the month falls under the fire group with earth properties.

If a person is born on the 10th of a month, then the date of birth breaks down to be 1+0=1. Therefore, someone born on the 10th day of a month falls under the water group.

Someone born on the 9th of a month falls under the air group.

The chart above is an easy way of remembering how to classify an individual. However, the following is a complete list of the days of a month and which group the individual belongs to:

1. The Water Group are born on the following days:
   1, 5, 7, 10, 14, 16, 19, 23, 25, or 28
    
2. The Fire Group are born on the following days:
   2, 4, 8, 11, 13, 17, 20, 22, 26, 29, or 31
    
3. The Air Group are born on the following days:
   3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, or 30

How To Determine Compatibility

To determine love compatibility, one should find a partner that is born into the same group. That is, if you are an Air then your partner should be an Air also. The reason for this is because fundamentally, individuals born in the same group would feel the same way about many things.

Individuals born into the Air and Fire group can find harmony and happiness together. Individuals born in these groups may find it possible to merge their individuality and find happiness together. Although it is possible for an Air and Fire to have a relationship together, they will eventually exhaust each other as fire requires air to burn. As the fire burns, the air will be exhausted and when there is no more air, there is no more fire.

The Water and Air group do not find lasting happiness in their relationship. There is a conflict in the way these two groups see things. Have you ever tried breathing under water? It's not easy to do... in fact, it's impossible unless your a fish!

The Water and Fire group are also not good with each other. But, Water and Fire are not as discordant as Water and Air. Nonetheless, fire cannot burn when water is poured on it.

Those with Earth properties (look at the chart to see the days that fall under the Earth heading) have more flexibility as they can get along more easily with others from a different group.

The water group are the disciplinarians. The fire group are inspirational. The air group are the dreamers - visionaries.

When determining complete compatibility from a Yantric Yoga point of view, one must also consider the name and complete date of birth of the two people in question.
